In your recent newsletter you accuse the administration of being unprepared for a serious disaster. I really don't respect a senator that would try to score political points from a 100 year natural disaster - especially when the chaos was exacerbated by an incompetent mayor and governor.

Your attempt to place the blame on the federal government smacks of the lowest kind of political opportunism.

PS: Your vote on the confirmation of John Roberts, an extremely qualified shorefront Court nominee, will let us know whether you think for yourself or if you're marching lock step with DNC party leaders.
